ABOUT US

OUR ORIGINS

TBD Magazine is a New Orleans-based slow media publication focused on community documentation with the intention of building an artist network throughout the American and global south.

TBD was formed by a collective of creatives, writers, and artists seeking a space where expression is prioritized and cultural legacies are acknowledged and celebrated.

As a team, we seek to create a space for BIPOC and QTPOC creators to explore, express, and discuss the depths of our identities and put forward the concepts, ideas, and questions that arise from our shared and individual experiences.

We want to build spaces where creativity has a home, experiences are shared, and community is seen. By centering QTBIPOC communities, we aim to support conversations that awaken and inspire action for our collective future.

OUR VALUES

OUR PURPOSE

As a magazine, we acknowledge the importance of community documentation and representative media to share local and global narratives that truly reflect the experiences of BIPOC and QTPOC people.

We aim to foster a collaborative network of creatives worldwide to uplift, support, and inspire community-driven art, culture, and innovation. By connecting and empowering these creative voices, we seek to build a platform where art meets advocacy and collaboration fuels transformation.
